Francis Cramer-Roberts

The Rt Rev Francis Alexander Randal Cramer-Roberts, DD^[1] was an Anglican Colonial Bishop in the late 19th century.^[2]

Born in 1840 or 1841, Francis Alexander Cramer Roberts was educated at Rugby and Trinity College, Cambridge and ordained in 1865.^[3]^[4] After curacies at Frant and Hawley he held incumbencies at Ross-on-Wye and Blindley Heath. In 1878 he was elevated to the Episcopate as Bishop of Nassau,^[5] serving for seven years. On his return to England he was Vicar of Milford on Sea and finally Archdeacon of Blackburn.^[6] He died on 9 February 1901.^[7]
